House Cleaning Tips that need to be shared
Being in the house cleaning business for over 10 years, there are some pretty cool tricks that I have learned being a professional house cleaner! These home cleaning tips focus mostly on the kitchen cleaning, however, visit the other sections of our blog
to see all of our professional house cleaning tips!
Here are some of my favorites that I use all the time when I am doing house cleaning. If you have any great home cleaning tips that you would like to share, we would love to hear about them. Feel free to call me or send me an email.
Dryer sheets are great for keeping static cling away and keeping our laundry soft. But you can also use dryer sheets for removing that baked on stuff from your casseroles. Simply add a dryer sheet to your dish with some water, and let it sit over night.
The next day the stuck on stuff slides off. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you add enough water to cover all the stuck on stuff, otherwise, it will still be hard to get off the next day.
You can use fabric softener to remove wall paper. I used fabric softener in my old house to remove the wallpaper. It was as easy as adding about a 1/4 cup to a bowl of water and using a sponge to wet down the wallpaper, I let it sit for a while and it softened the glue on the wallpaper and it was easy to strip off.
Just be careful not to dig into your drywall, it can happen if you are applying to much pressure.
Cool Cleaning Tip #3 – Magic Sponge
The uses for this type of sponge are endless! But one of my favorites is to remove soap scum from shower and tub walls. Just wet the sponge and start scrubbing. I would be sure to rinse down your tub or shower when finished so there is no left over residue.
P.S. If you want to buy these in bulk, like I do, visit www.spongeoutlet.com
and split a box with some friends. You can get 300 for less than $90.00, so be sure to find someone who loves magic sponges as much as you do.
Hope you enjoy this cleaning tips, and please let me know if you have any you would like to share.
